Floating Concrete Kits

The Floating Concrete Kit provides kids with all the ingredients necessary (cement, sand, vermiculite and mixing containers) to make two different concrete samples: one that floats and a conventional mix that doesn't. They'll get hands-on learning as they mix concrete ingredients, weigh samples daily, plot unit weights on graphs and compare both mixtures.

The kit also comes with easy-to-follow instructions and a teacher's or leader's guide that provides questions, answers and discussion topics.
